The Elzey Foundation was founded in 2018 by Durund and Courtney Elzey with the vision of expanding educational opportunities for nontraditional college students. The Foundation was initially established to provide book scholarships to help offset the often-overlooked cost of textbooks and educational materials. Since its founding, the organization’s mission has grown to support students and families through literacy initiatives, educational resources, scholarships, and community outreach designed to remove barriers to academic success and create greater access to opportunity.
